Cycle 3 IUI (7/7/11 - 4/8/11)

7/7/11: (CD1 of Cycle 3)

well at about 1pm this afternoon my period decided to grace me with her presence 1day early, but managed to get a hold of the clinic and got a scan tomorrow at ten to 2 then will be issued with this cycles injections, little down about the outcome but on to next cycle.... let see what happens this one.

8/7/11: (CD2 of Cycle 3)

had scan at clinic today to check for more cysts luckily there are none and was given my injections but they have upper meds so left with 5 needles of gonal-f so now onto 100mg Clomid and 2x150mg 1x75mg of gonal-f then hcg trigger if all goes to plan back at clinic a week on Monday for CD11 scan....

Sadly today i am pretty ill whatever James had i got stupid bug i guess, started Clomid today which as always was fun :D lol but hopefully with the new increase of drugs we get some results this time here's hoping... guess we'll find out

9/7/11: (CD3 of Cycle 3)

Sadly this is short update..... myself and my OH have been very ill, last night i OH started getting really sick so was up half the night taken care of him... poor thing hate seeing people i love in pain was lucky my DS was away at his great grandmothers or else he would have been scared by it all.... anyways 2nd day on Clomid will update more asap xxxx

10/7/11: (CD4 of Cycle 3)

Today we adopted a little girl Keira (yes a dog before anyone thinks child adoption is that easy lol) we have had a great day with her....

TTC wise, its 3rd day on Clomid and we'll see what happens... I really need to do another TTC video at some point, might rope Daniel into filming me doing my injections tomorrow as its double dose time joys.... but we'll get there

My first injection is tomorrow. My Clomid has also been upped so we are currently on:

Clomid = CD2-6 (100mg CD 2, 4, 6 - 50mg CD 3,5)

Gonal-f = CD 5,7,9 (150mg CD 5,7 - 75mg CD 9)

Get scanned week on Monday CD12 (will be our CD11 scan) but clinic is closed

11/7/11: (CD5 of Cycle 3)

Well today i done my first double dose of gonal-f i got my partner to help me video this so could show others what to do. So can check that out below. Otherwise not really much to update got 2nd last dose of Clomid tonight and then on Wednesday i have my next lot of injections.

13/7/11: (CD7 of Cycle 3)

had my 2nd lot of gonal-f today although it was hours late because been sooo hectic today and not stopped all day, anyways last night was hell for me since Monday i had been really snappy and upset and last night i just broke down, a friend of mine text as she was ill and was sent to hospital said she just had scan and she is 23weeks pregnant she never knew and now she is moaning her life is over safe to say this is making me worse, anyways last lot of injections on Friday then scan on Monday to check to see if we have any follicles this cycle, here's hoping x

14/7/11: (CD8 of Cycle 3)

Been really emotional recently not sure what’s gotten into me got my last shot of gonal-F tomorrow then we'll see how we get on at the hospital on Monday, not really looking forward to it as already having a pretty bad week, anyways here's hoping it gets better

15/7/11: (CD9 of Cycle 3)

forgot again about my injection but managed to do it not so late today, least it’s done but it was agony it really hurt a lot not sure why, was almost crying when i was doing it and then my belly was sore all day was not fun left a mark and did bleed a little had to really force myself to keep going as it was really sore was not natural as i kept wanting to pull away but anyways i done it and its over unless they decide like last month to give me an extra day’s worth which i am hoping they don't can't be bothered trekking back and forth from the hospital. Anyways so that was today been having another really bad day but getting on with it....

16/7/11: (CD10 of Cycle 3)

Thankfully my injection site has stopped hurting although i have been so very tired me and OH are going through a rough patch just now and its really knocking my self-esteem, but anyways not feeling too hopeful about this cycle as i have been having sever shooting pains on my left ovary so although the drugs might be working i think they are working on the wrong side :cry: will find out on Monday when getting my CD11 scan although it will be CD 12 because they don't open on a sat or Sunday, i made some nice dinner today and some lovely broccoli soup so little proud of myself decided to try lots of different things recently :D plus got my DS to sit with us at dinner time and eat something which in itself is a challenge anyways today is the last day me and OH can BD until we get results on Monday and then if we're getting IUI have to hold off till then so might be a few days lol wonder if the wee man will do to sleep early enough for us to enjoy each other’s company although we got a dog and she has been hell when it comes to this she has been trying to get on top of us when were DTD which is very big turn off and sends me and OH fighting anyways best go sort wee man out and get dog walked wish me luck :D lol

17/7/11: (CD11 of Cycle 3)

well I have my scan tomorrow i am really hoping they don't cancel another cycle and that there will be follicles on my right ovary and none on my left. i really wish my left would just go to sleep but we'll find out tomorrow my OH is watching my DS so hoping i don't come home to blood shed but hopefully they should be okay for a couple of hours together, we had a lovely dinner tonight, we made 4 course meal which was lovely, i made broccoli soup, then Daniel made mussels with garlic butter sauce was lovely then we had a steak pasta for mains it was again brilliant and then i made cream chocolate chip cupcake which the dog ended up eating most of because she's a pain in the neck and her own owners used to feed her sugar she jumped up on the counter after opening the door and eating most of the cakes so safe to say i wasn't happy about that but wee man's asleep now and i am finished my blogging for the night...

18/7/11: (CD12 of Cycle 3)

Well today was hell! i missed my train so was 10 mins late for my appointment but luckily the nurse didn't mind, went in for the scan and she was taking forever to say anything so i knew something was wrong, this was the first scan to see if the drugs had worried and if i had any follicles at first i thought she was going to say that all my follicles were on my left side but then she said i had OHSS :'( there was 7 mature follicles not sure how they are devided between my ovaries but know i have follicles on each ovary, apparently i gave many immure ones so of course this cycle was cancelled i am beside myself because of this feel like i have been handed a one way ticket to the looney bin but *sigh* just have to get on with it. think i have a short fuse today also. i am meant to be drinking alot of water to help reduce to OHSS but don't really feel in the mood to do anything other than sit and read my book but what can you do, anyways so that is it for this cycle what a blood waste all that pain of this cycles injections for nothing what a waste of follicles too :(
