Cycle 2 IUI *offically first realy IUI cycle* (11/6/11 - 7/7/11)

11/6/11: (CD1 of Cycle 2)

I got my period this morning it was the worst period i have had in my whole life i am currently sitting on the sofa with laptop on my belly hoping the heat from the computer will help even slightly as well as taken all the painkillers i am allowed to take... when i was at the clinic last i was on CD11 of last cycle and had been scanned and told my follicles were only on my left side and told the cycle of IUI had to be abandoned and i had to be re-scanned before i could start Clomid again but the clinic is now not opened till Monday and i will then be CD3 and meant to start Clomid on CD2... so not sure what to do there not sure if i should take the Clomid tomorrow and just get scanned and hope they get me to keep taking it or to wait and might end up with another wasted cycle?

13/6/11: (CD3 of Cycle 2)

Had my scan yesterday and follicles didn't turn into cysts thank god so was sent home with 3 shots of gonal-f to do at home myself :D first one CD5

14/6/11: (CD4 of Cycle 2)

Took Clomid today and made a small video before my injection video :D check out my YouTube channel to see what’s happening before anyone else :D but today has been pretty good i have been working on my son's birthday loot bags :D got some of them finished

Today is last day of Clomid although i am sure i am having side effects :( still planning my son's party

17/6/11: (CD7 of Cycle 2)

done 2nd Gonal-F injection tonight it hurt like hell, but got it done didn't do a video of it this time because i really wanted to try and relax but think it made it worse lol

18/6/11: (CD8 of Cycle 2)

spent the night with my honey, spent the night also sorting stuff for my son's birthday party which is tomorrow ah well least it’s a drug free day today....

19/6/11: (CD9 of Cycle 2)

done my 3rd gonal-f injection tonight and it hurt like hell :( bit my lip so hard because of the pain so not fun getting worse not better sadly plus mega tired cause my DS birthday party but least it’s over :D xxx

20/6/11: (CD10 of Cycle 2)

Well i have to do to hospital tomorrow morning for early scan as my LH has spiked which means i might be ovulating myself really early so might be another abandoned cycle :( but will find out tomorrow

21/6/11: (CD11 of Cycle 2)

Had scan this morning, which showed i wasn't ovulating at all in fact there were not follicles at all :( but she did say there was fluid behind my uterus so not sure what that’s all about she gave me another Gonal-F injection to do when i got home and did so and to go back for another scan on Thursday... so it’s another waiting game, if still no follicles by Thursday think they are likely to abandon again

22/6/11: (CD12 of Cycle 2) Also my son's 4th birthday

today has been a long and tiring day my son is now having a rest so thought i would update before dinner, i started getting some pains on my right hand side tonight so hoping that when i go for my scan tomorrow that there might actually be some sign of follicles on my right side hoping for none at all on my left but we'll see.....

23/6/11: (CD13 of Cycle 2)

Had scan today and there was one follicle on my right that was 1.9mm so they gave me the hcg injection which i had to do on the train because it had to be done at 12 on the dot and my appointment was 11:40 lol and the train didn't have a toilet in it lol luckily the whole train was empty but still it was very quick and easy to do and unlike the Gonal-f didn't feel a thing! Back to clinic tomorrow at 8:45 to hand in sperm sample for our IUI which is a go!!!!!

24/6/11: (CD14 of Cycle 2) - Day of IUI!!!!!!!!!

Well today I had my IUI, had to get up very early this morning to get ready and then i had to wake OH for sample and jumped the train to go to hospital it takes about an hour or so on the train and cost a fortune. anyways i got half way through my journey and started panicking i was that tired my brain told me i had forgot to change trains and was going the wrong way which i wasn't lol i have done this trek a million times but was so worried for about 5mins lol :D at 8:40am i got to the hospital with the swimmer sample and got asked to fill in a form and sign stuff to say it was my OH's sperm etc., then was told to come back at 12:30, so thought right i will jump a train back and have some lunch etc., now the hospital is over 20miles away so by 10:25 i had already travelled over 40miles. i came home had lunch cleaned for 5mins only to run out the door back to the hospital same trip i had done that morning lol :D got to hospital at 12:20 and was waiting about 5mins before being called in, luckily enough the IUI itself although sore was over pretty quickly. They of course spent about 10mins checking to make sure they had right sample for the right person lol :D anyways i was little shaky leaving but otherwise alright. I also was getting the keys to my new house today so when i was heading back from the hospital i had to go to the new house to collect the keys and such and see what needs to be done in the way of work. when i finally got back to my area i started feeling really ill and since about 3pm this afternoon have been getting really bad spells of feeling really sick, dizzy and really bad stomach pains taking as much painkillers as i can but nothing i am hoping it dies down tomorrow but we'll see.....

25/6/11: (CD15/1DPIUI of Cycle 2)

well today have been in a bit of pain but had to go and paint the new house so that kept me busy and kept my mind off of everything the countdown begins and hopefully should know something soon, we had a kid free weekend as my son was at his great grandma's so got some stuff done got some packing done too and chilled out tonight as my partner went out with the boys so that was good and even had an early night although this morning me and OH had very early morning sex lol :D

26/6/11: (CD16/2DPIUI of Cycle 2)

Sunday today and although i should be trying to get a rest i had a very very busy day, me and my MIL went to the new house and were painting, i got some of my son's room done and some of the living room done but not much which is a shame, ended up with cramp in my hands from all the painting, after we finished painting for the day my MIL took me the 20miles to pick up my son which was good then we came home and slept lol today i felt little bloated and still sore from IUI

27/6/11: (CD17/3DPIUI of Cycle 2)

Monday and back to the mines of my house :D but with my DS this time which was fun lol he managed to wreak his £15 Thomas border which safe to say didn't leave mummy very happy lol but got some more stuff done we managed to finished the living room :D woo hoo one room done and my son's room is almost complete, we also started on the bathroom, my bedroom and some parts of the hall :D so least we got some parts done still lots to do though today TTC wise we DTD :D christening the house  so that’s a plus lol hopefully it works lol but we'll see what results from IUI are already climbing the walls because i know i can't test early :(

28/6/11: (CD18/4DPIUI of Cycle 2)

today i felt really bloated again :( but getting there pains still coming and going which they said can take up to 10 days to die down great :( but went shopping to get some border for my room and found nothing, so that’s been put on hold until i can find something, then after that we went back to the new house to do some more work today we.... Finished my son's room and the bathroom, we have just now got to do touch up in the hall, finish edging in the kitchen, put up border in my bedroom and give the whole house a good scrub. Also strimmed the garden tonight and going to start clearing the garden for flowers and veg going to grow my own veg :D

29/6/11: (CD19/5DPIUI of Cycle 2)

Well today i managed to get most of my house finished i think lol :D took some finished pictures of the bedrooms. sooo tired tonight and really stressed and moody my stomach is a little sore tonight but been told that this could be sore for up to 10days after the IUI so we'll see i bought some cheap pregnancy tests in town today although i never did any of them because i will still have hCG in my system so not allowed to test yet :( ah well need to wait, spent the night packing up and sorting through stuff my son found one of his birthday presents i forgot about and it was a doctors set and i am dying here at 10:30pm and my son is wrapping me up and telling me there is lots of blood and am dirty and broken and dying lovely i feel it son i really do.

30/6/11: (CD20/6DPIUI of Cycle 2)

today was madness was moving stuff into the new house but not moving in till Saturday we were meant to move in tomorrow but forgot it was my MIL's birthday opps lol :D anyways so wee man is spending the day with grandma then going to his great grandma's while we adults go out for the night to a jazz club or something i don’t know anyways my OH has booked a boxing match so wants to watch that so i get to sit out with my MIL for her birthday so she's not left alone all night :) anyways so we got her some birthday presents and guess what i packed and moved the sellotape away didn't i how stupid am i....but TTC wise not much to report not got any pains really although really tired and peeing a little more than usually but with all that’s going on sure that’s normal now only 7-8days then can start testing period is due on CD28 so we'll see...  also tonight and last night my DS had weird fits in his sleep lasting only 30seconds but worried sick been told not to worry but hard not to so he's sleeping in with me for a while that should be fun.

2/7/11: (CD22/8DPIUI of Cycle 2) DAY FROM HELL!!!

woke up this afternoon as had a child free day and was alright for a while then ended up doubling up in agony after me and OH had sex, i have no idea what happened but was going between feeling like i was going to throw my guts up to feeling like was in the worst pain, it was worse than labour and period pains put together was not good almost rung the hospital but then about 2hours after it started i got a call as my DS was at his great grandma's that he had had a bad accident and was being rushed to hospital so i speed from my house to meet him at the A&E department, he had slipped and fallen off their decking and hit his head on a wall, so had a huge gash in this year was pouring of blood and could slightly see the bone when i got there he had calmed down a little but was really horrible i was ready to throw up but safe to save from the worry my pains disappeared it was hell trying to get him to settle to get his head put back together they were going to stitch it but he kept going mad and beating the staff so they in the end cleaned it and glued it together my poor humpty dumpty :( anyways so they managed to get him glued back to normal he is now asleep at home resting he seems alright thank god. But still a huge worry and need to keep an eye on him for next 24hours, i was also trying to find out when HCG from my trigger shot would be out of my system so i could start safely testing so going to leave it till Monday.  Hope everyone else has had a better day.

7/7/11: (CD27/13DPIUI of Cycle 2)

well today I did a first response pregnancy test and it was negative i have been testing most mornings and they have been mostly negative,s i have had a few faint lines but guessing that’s been the trigger..... This post continues into next cycle…

Official End on Cycle 2!!
